This webinar focuses on the use of EUDRAGIT® polymers in oral solid dosage forms to achieve optimal sustained release properties. The use of either multiparticulate or matrix formulations containing EUDRAGIT® polymers allows for the controlled release of active pharmaceutical ingredients, resulting in improved drug efficacy and reduced dosing frequency. In addition, we will discuss the incorporation of Chematic® cleaners into manufacturing processes to simplify equipment cleaning, resulting in reduced downtime and increased productivity. Through case studies and examples, this presentation highlights the benefits of using EUDRAGIT® polymers to maximize the potential of oral solid dosage forms.

    Nina Hauschildt is a principal scientist in the Formulation & Application Services group at Evonik Health Care. She is based in Darmstadt, Germany, and in this role, she has been giving technical support to customers in North and Western Europe with a focus on excipients for oral drug delivery for over a decade. Nina holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical engineering and a green belt certificate. Thanks to her extensive experience formulating complex oral dosage forms using functional excipients, Nina frequently works on formulation and process challenges in all application areas. She regularly gives seminars and is the co-author of several scientific papers.

Innovative Formulation Approaches for Targeted Oral Drug Delivery
